Celebrate the feminine in you
Preparing to be a mother is a feminine process.
Unfortunately, our society glorifies masculine energy to the exclusion of vilifying the feminine and seeing it as weak.
One cannot exist without the other. This is how nature works.
Bring more of your feminine nature into your intimate relationship with your partner/husband.
Ask for help. Let your partner do things for you without feeling the need to reciprocate. Ohh, I know the mere idea of that makes you uncomfortable. 😉 Receiving is feminine. Giving is masculine.
By celebrating your femininity, you honor what your body is meant to do – have a healthy baby.
Why quality is more important than quantity
Have you noticed that as you mature, you care more about quality than quantity?
You become more selective in how you spend your time, energy, money, and resources. Less friends with deeper connections. Less food that are more nourishing. Less trendy clothes that can be worn for years to come.
Have this same philosophy about your eggs.
Give more importance to the quality of your eggs than to the number of eggs.
You have plenty of eggs. Really you do. You literally have thousands of eggs left.
Have faith that the one perfect egg you need is ready and waiting for you.
The most important fertility tip when you’re over 35
I get emails every single day from women who want to know how to get pregnant. The way they word their emails are very indicative of how close, or on the flip side, how far away, they are to getting pregnant.
In reading those emails and working with clients for 20 years now, I have something to share with you and I hope it will help you.
People focus way too much on the reality that they’re facing now and not enough on the possibility of a different future.
The “what is” is already past tense…it’s history.
Understand that your reality is constantly changing.
It can continue to change to the same thing and that’s what happens when you stay focused on what is or what has happened.
Or it can change to a new future if you allow yourself to believe that you can get pregnant with a healthy baby and take actions that are aligned with that belief.
If you don’t believe it’s possible, it WON’T be possible. It’s honestly as simple as that.
The most important fertility tip I can give you is to believe in yourself, your body, and your baby waiting to come forward.
Women spend an awful lot of time defending where they are because they think they’re too old, they’ve been diagnosed with low AMH or diminished ovarian reserve or whatever diagnosis their doctor gave them, they’re too busy, they don’t have enough money – these women won’t be able to surpass their perceived obstacles to truly improve their fertility.
Because those reasons by themselves don’t mean anything. It’s whatever value you give to them that determines your future.
This is a difficult journey. You know it because you’re experiencing it right now.
Instead of staying focused on the problem, put your energy and attention to where you’re going, the light at the end of the tunnel (your vision of growing your family), instead of the shadows along the way.
How do you stay focused on the light when you have so much doubt and fear?
It’s counterintuitive but the answer is to take your attention off the problem of infertility.
You’ve been examining this problem from every possible angle you can think of. I know because I get your emails.
Instead, give yourself a break and focus on other things that are going well in your life.
That could be your relationships like with your partner/husband, friends, family, your job/career, your hobbies – whatever is going well.
Appreciation is truly the key to inviting more solutions to manifesting your dreams because those ideas will be inspired by your higher self.
When you stand in appreciation, you are open to receiving the answers to your problems.
On the other hand, when you are clenched in doubt or fear or neediness, you can only bring more of that energy to you.
The very first fertility tip I give to all my clients
Some of my most effective fertility tips are often the most overlooked because of how simple they are.
So let’s make sure you have this most basic requirement met. And that’s to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
You can survive weeks, even months, without food. But only 3-4 days without water before your organs start to shut down.
That’s because your cells, including your eggs, are about 70% water. That also means an embryo is about 70% water.
If you’re dehydrated which most people are, your cells will not have enough water for proper cellular function and metabolism.
Dehydration also increases the risk of miscarriage because the embryo isn’t hydrated.
In addition, your cervical mucus is almost 96% water. That stretchy cervical mucus that you start seeing as you get closer to ovulation is a direct result of more water content.
This type of cervical mucus is the most likely time you’ll get pregnant so if you’re trying to get pregnant naturally, the days you see that stretchy cervical mucus is the time you want to get busy between the sheets.
It usually appears a few days before ovulation to give sperm enough time to travel to the uterus so expect it to show up BEFORE ovulation.
Just drinking more water has improved how much cervical mucus my clients see so water IS important.
How much water should you drink?
Half your weight in ounces of water.
So that was a very simple tip but incredibly powerful to improving your chances of getting pregnant.
