In response to my email earlier this week about how long you should TTC, I got the loveliest call Wednesday from a woman thanking me for helping her be the mother she always wanted to be.

AT 43 YEARS OLD!

She had suffered through 3 miscarriages.  One in the second trimester.

But she was thankful for having the “tenacity” to continue even though doctors (many of them) told her it was too late.  It was a tough, long 4 year road.

But she was rewarded with a healthy girl.

Look, here’s the thing…

I know how hard it is.  I get it.  I see the tears, frustration, anger, fear, despair.

But trust me when I tell you that your chronological age doesn’t define your fertility.  I’m the Lone Ranger in saying this because I know 99% of doctors would say it’s impossible.  And they’re DOCTORS!  Specialists in ovaries and uterus.  But they’re specialists in using medications to treat those organs.

On the other hand, I’m a specialist in NATURAL fertility.  What I know, they don’t.  And vice versa.  Complementary fields.  The trick is to use both paradigms to create the best solution for YOU!

I’m not saying it’s easy.  It’s not.  But if you truly want to get pregnant, you have to have faith that your body is capable of it.

It is probably the most difficult obstacle you’ve had to overcome in your life.

Buckle up, pull up your big girl panties, and do what you need to do to improve your fertility.

One step at a time.

One day at a time.

Just like this 43yo woman did who called me from her car while her 3yo daughter was in dance class.  She wanted to share her story to inspire others to keep going.

It’s the small, seemingly inconsequential decisions you make every day that add up.
