Why Google May Be Hurting Your Fertility
Evidently Google has recently updated their search engine ranking algorithm to favor big mainstream websites and paid ads over smaller sites, like mine, with niche content.
As consumers, that means we get exposed to more of the same-old, same-old that gets recirculated round and round. And less of the information that’s outside of conventional thinking.
When it comes to health, that’s really bad news. Because it gives the impression that the only path to health and well-being is with modern medicine. And everything else is just airy-fairy, woo-woo nonsense.
So that means it falls on you to be your own advocate when it comes to your health and fertility. We give far too much credence to what the experts say and too little credit to the body’s basic nature for well-being.
That’s because the more natural approaches are less headline-grabbing, less sexy, and less profitable – a powerful combination that just begs information to be swept under the rug and ignored.
As you travel along your fertility journey, keep your eyes and mind open for new information that may help you towards your vision.
But don’t get distracted by all the shiny objects along the way – the advanced fertility treatments, the fertility superfood, the supplement that will reverse poor egg quality.
Instead, make sure you have your basics down pat – it’s often as simple as giving your body some TLC. Sleep, nutritious food, and appreciation are nature’s most powerful medicines. Without these foundational elements, you limit the success of any other fertility treatments.
