A reminder on your fertility journey

Remember that it’s just as important to tend to your emotional and spiritual health as it is to your physical health.

Blood values like AMH levels are only information for you. They’re data points, that’s all.  Do not let them define your ability to have a healthy baby.

If you’re consistent about eating whole, nutrient-dense foods, taking a few key supplements, getting enough sleep, and moving your body, those are the areas that are most important to improving your fertility on a physical level.

Beyond that, there aren’t going to be silver bullets that will magically make your lab tests normalize. It is your lifestyle that will slow down the aging process.

If you feel vital, vibrant, and young, your eggs will also be healthy and energized.

You understand that we respond to our environments. If we’re in a stressful environment, we will be stressed. If we’re out in nature, we’ll respond by feeling more relaxing and revived.

In the same way, your eggs respond to their environment. What happens on a macro level will happen on a micro level.

Live your life to its fullest as it is right now. Doing so will allow you to attract more joy.

This message is for the career woman..

Your career is important. You’ve worked for years to get to where you are and that’s not even including the education you invested in to provide the foundation for your chosen profession.


It becomes a block on your fertility journey if you cannot draw the line between work and leisure.

By that I mean you work such long hours that you don’t have time for yourself, check your emails or answering calls after work hours, etc.

If this is you, keep in mind…

You have the rest of your life to work and climb up the ladder.

In comparison, you have a relatively short period of time to have your baby.

If you struggle with prioritizing your health and personal desires before work, it is time to assess what’s really important for you.

There is no right or wrong answer. It’s what you want, deep down, without the influence of external pressures.

If having a baby is no longer your dream, be proud that you were able to make such an important decision. It was not made lightly.

On the other hand, if having a baby is still your dream, your health must take priority.

You cannot build your kingdom if you’re too busy creating someone else’s kingdom.

The rewards of self-care are subtle and slow so it’s easy to brush it off. Your ego loves the validation of being productive at work, the immediate benefits of a paycheck, and the accolades of your business associates.

But your soothed ego will be little comfort when you realize you’ve spent precious time focusing on work and not enough on yourself to improve your fertility.

Shift your focus to reflect your priorities. You don’t have to quit your job but you do need to have boundaries of when work ends and honor that.

If having a baby is important to you, your physical and emotional health must be your number one priority.

What are your REAL chances of success?

The reality is that as you get older, the chances of getting pregnant decrease. There’s no getting around that.

However, if you dwell on the statistics of how likely you are to get pregnant, you lose sight of the possibility of expanding your chances.

For example, if your chance of success is less than 3% and you focus on the number 3, you’re trying to fit yourself in that 3% group which is a really difficult battle to win.

Instead, focus on the 97% room for improvement you have. What can you do to grow that chance for yourself?

For starters, eat whole, nutrient-dense foods with an emphasis on animal products, take a few key supplements, get enough sleep, and move your body. Those are the most basic elements.

Once you have those down into a consistent routine, you need to then work on clearing the thoughts in your head that’s blocking you. That includes the doubts, fears, anxieties that you have about your fertility journey. They are just as real obstacles as any physical blockages like scars.

If you’re swimming in those emotions – maybe even feeling like you’re drowning in them, how can you possibly see the light when your head is constantly in that darkness?

Instead, take the time to appreciate the blessings that you have in your life. Don’t give lip service to them. Fully appreciate them. Doing so will move you into a space to allow more of that positive energy to come to you.
