2 steps to success

June 20, 2021

Harken back to the pre-Covid days when you were able to feast at buffet restaurants…

When you look at the bounty displayed beautifully in front of you, you don’t complain about what they don’t have. Rather, you allow yourself to take in the vast selection of delicious foods you have access to and delightedly enjoy what is available to you.

You also take your time, plating a few things and then going back for more. You know that you don’t have to pile your plate high with everything you want at one time because they will still be there. You pace yourself.

This is how your fertility journey should work as well…

1) Admire all that is available to you here and now. Spend little to no time focusing on what’s missing.

Rather, set the intention that having your baby is in your future, visualize it, and then enjoy what life is offering you right now. Know that your request for your baby has been received and trust that the universe will fulfill your wish at its own time, in its own way.

You just have to stay clear on what you want (your baby), rather than what you don’t want (the struggle and the limitations).

2) Pace yourself. Patience is key to the process. Making knee-jerk decisions based on fear that time’s running out prevents you from acting from a place of alignment. Your body’s response to time is based on your perception of time. If you expect time to be limited, your body will respond in that manner. If you expect time to be inconsequential, your body will think that as well.

These two practices require you being aware of your thoughts. Creating intentionally will allow you to see that success is within your reach.

You have tens of trillions of cells in your body (estimates vary). Every single of them function without your conscious input. Your body is far smarter than your conscious mind which is often ruled by fear.

Give your body the grace of doing what it was born to do. You won’t regret it.
