The Importance of Consistency on Your Fertility Journey
Staying consistent may be one of your biggest challenges on your fertility journey. Consistent in taking care of yourself, eating well, sleeping enough, getting more exercise, and giving your loved one(s) enough focused attention.
But, most important of all, staying positive.
Because if you don’t believe it’s possible to get pregnant, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
One of the biggest obstacles to staying positive is that you listen and care too much about what others tell you. You let their doubts seep into your subconscious until it becomes your belief. A belief is just a thought that’s repeated over and over.
So, in order to change your belief that you’re too old to get pregnant or your eggs are done, you have to 1) replace them with new ones and 2) quit listening to those who are telling you a different story than what you want to hear (and that may include your doctors).
Try something like: “I still get a regular period. That means I’m ovulating so I can still get pregnant.” That shouldn’t be too much of a stretch for you since that’s a fact. As long as you have an egg popping out every month, there’s a chance, yes?
Follow that with “Things are always working out for me.”
Be consistent in your thoughts and actions. They should align, not conflict, with your goal.
