Mirror, mirror on the wall…Who’s the prettiest of them all?
A guilty pleasure in recent weeks are makeup transformation videos on Youtube.
They’re really mind blowing.
Skin tape to change the face shape, contouring, clay to raise the nose bridge, and then the endless products.
After watching them, I have to say I feel a little bad for guys. Us ladies know what we’re getting from the get go. For guys, not so much. When the make up comes off, you just never know.
Anyhoo, lots of reasons why I like being a girl and that’s one of them.
The power of makeup.
On a day when I feel like the stuff I pick up twice a day from my dog’s rear end, all I have to do is slap on some products and I can fake it with the best of them.
I’m careful though about keeping it low-key and as minimal as possible.
Cuz there are a ton of chemicals in those bad boy compacts, tubes, and sticks.
A new study discovered links between chemicals commonly used in cosmetic and personal care products and changes in reproductive hormones
Specifically, chemicals like parabens used as preservatives and benzophenones for ultraviolet protection.
Take a field trip to your natural foods store and look for safer products without the chemicals.
Coconut oil is a no-brainer substitute for body lotion. Add essential oils for a custom scent.
Sunscreen with physical blockers like zinc oxide are better than chemical sunscreens. Or lightweight long-sleeved shirts, pants, or skirts.
Improving your fertility is a lifestyle. Treating it as such instead of implementing random tactics makes it much easier to continue over the long-term.
